We offer a variety of technology for public use, including computers, AWE touch-screen Early Literacy Stations, Crayon Kiosk, Playaway Launchpads, and Nooks. AWE Early Literacy Stations feature over 4,000 learning activities designed for 2-8 year olds. These touch-screen stations feature interactive and engaging activities across all seven curricular areas: math, science, social studies, reading, arts, writing, computer skills, and reference.
Each of our two Krayon Kiosks holds four iPads that have been loaded with child-friendly games and applications. Launchpads are high-definition tablets that are available for circulation to Uniondale Public Library patrons. 
Each table is pre-loaded with 10+ high-quality learning apps, grouped by age and grade level. Subject areas range from English Language Arts to Math and Science.
